Van Buren Trading Company Event Campaigns

Van Buren Trading Company Event Campaigns

Van Buren Trading Company hosts several parties throughout the year to build walk-in traffic for the store and relationships with their customers. Here’s a sampling of the materials we made to help market their different events: Flyers, Email Announcements, Facebook Timeline Covers, Newspaper Ads, etc.

Event Campaign Materials

VBTC’s events are scheduled around national holidays to coincide with an increase in visitors to the Van Buren area by people vacationing on the Current River. Free refreshments like organic coffee and homemade pie provide additional incentive to stop and browse their changing inventory of vintage and artisan-made items.

Flyers
Standard letter sized flyers are printed on a color laser printer in-house and distributed a few weeks before each event. They are posted around town on public bulletin boards and at supporting businesses. The owner is always happy to help others promote their activities and has developed a strong cross-marketing network.

Facebook
Matching Facebook Timeline Covers and relevant status posts provide more details about the featured artist and activities. The owner regularly shares photos of current products for sale and quickly answers any questions and comments in a friendly way.

Email Mailing List
Email announcements personally invite their core “fan base” to each event. A free email service helps VBTC stay compliant with anti-spam laws by providing an easy way to unsubscribe to their mailing list.

Newspaper
Local newspaper advertisements are placed for the week of the event to reach out to a larger audience, including tourists looking for “something else” to do in the area.

VBTC has more events planned this year! Stay tuned…
